Dorette Darby, a published author from St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, released her first cookbook, Tropical Palate Taste of Jamaica, in 2009. Her co-authored book, My Own Food, gained media recognition and positioned her among The GRIO's top 100 influential people. She supports initiatives like Cook for a Cause, aiding over 300 foster families in Miami.

Dannyology, a Miami native and former foster youth, turned his passion for cooking into purpose. From culinary school to becoming an executive chef and entrepreneur, he now uses his journey to inspire and mentor foster youth—showing them that success is possible through passion, creativity, and perseverance.
